MY 1.12: How to add / delete Shifts and Breaks?

Account Set Up - Shifts & Breaks

Shifts assigned to employee helps the system determine if they are early for work / leaving late from work, vice versa.

Configuring Shifts and Breaks

• Adding Shifts
• Deleting Shifts
• Adding Breaks
• Deleting Breaks

Adding Shifts

1. On the left sidebar menu, Click Settings > Shifts & Breaks
2. Click on Shifts tab
3. Click + Add to add a new shift
4. Key in Shift Name
5. Enter Shift Code
6. Select Shift Color
7. Click to set Start and End Time of Shift
8. Select desired pre-set Available Break to add into the shift
9. Click + Add to create more breaks, if required (Refer to Point 5 in Step 2)
10. Click Save

    *Note: If Employee has a fixed schedule, his shift would have to be created here before it can be        added to his attendance tab 

Deleting Shifts

1. On the left sidebar menu, Click Settings > Shifts & Breaks
2. Click on Shifts tab
3. Select the desired shift to delete
   
4. Click Delete to remove shift
5. Click OK to confirm
   
6. Toggle View Deleted Item(s) to view deleted records, if required
7. Click   to restore deleted records, if required

Adding Breaks

1. On the left sidebar menu, Click Settings > Shifts & Breaks
2. Click on Breaks tab
3. Click + Add to add a new break
4. Key in Break Name
5. Click to set Start Time of Break
6. Click to set End Time of Break
7. Click Save

    *Note:  Instead of keying in Start and End Time of Break, you may toggle Break Duration and key     in the duration of breaks in minutes.

 Deleting Breaks

1. On the left sidebar menu, Click Settings > Shifts & Breaks
2. Click on Breaks tab
3. Select the desired break to delete
4. Click Delete to remove break
5. Click OK to confirm
6. Toggle View Deleted Item(s) to view deleted records, if required
7. Click   to restore deleted records, if required
